But the introduction of FasTag has eased the process of passing through the toll plazas easily, and quickly as it enables automatic deduction of toll fees and helps the passenger to pass through the toll plazas without having to wait for a long time. The adoption of Radio Frequency Identification Technology has brought a revolution in the payment of toll fees.

The FasTag which is fixed on the windscreen of the vehicle will help the passengers to wade through the toll plaza. Currently, more than 420+ toll plazas across the country are using the FasTag solution.

Validity of FASTag

FASTag is valid indefinitely. The same FASTag can be used as long as the tag is read and not tampered with. If the reading quality deteriorates due to wear and tear, please contact your issuing bank for a new tag.

Which roads allow the use of the tag?

FASTag is currently in use at toll booths along major highways. Every day, more toll plazas are added to the FASTag programme. The list of plazas can be found in the 'Active Toll Plazas' section.

Charges og FASTag

FASTag has a one-time fee of $100, which includes service tax and GST. The refundable security deposit varies according to the vehicle type.
