FINO FASTag

FasTag, operated by the National Highways Authority of India is an electronic toll collection system. The unique Radio Frequency Identification technology is used to make direct toll payments from the prepaid or savings account linked to the fastag. FASTags are issued by 22 certified banks including FINO Payments Bank, using various channels.

Overview

Fino FASTags are being deployed as part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) Program, which is overseen by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL). FASTags are reloadable tags that are attached to vehicle windscreens and linked to wallet accounts, allowing customers to bypass toll booths without stopping. The amount of the transaction is deducted from the linked prepaid account. The tag uses RFID technology and can be easily mounted on the vehicle's windscreen after verification. FASTag provides non-stop vehicle movement through toll plazas as well as the convenience of cashless toll payment with nationwide interoperable electronic toll collection services while saving time, fuel, and money. Fino FASTag is currently in use at over 400 toll plazas on the Indian National Highways network.

How to Purchase FASTag?

You can register your vehicle for FASTag using the FinoPay App or at any Fino POS location. A short code will be generated, which you must keep with your vehicle and registration copy. New customers must open a wallet account and bring KYC documents (e.g. PAN / Aadhar / Driving licence / Passport / Voter ID Card or government issued photo cards) with them.

Our representative will perform the necessary checks and place the issued FASTag on the windscreen of the vehicle. Any representative of the vehicle owner can purchase the FASTag by providing the above documentation and information.
