Aadhaar Card Enrollment Centres in Chitradurga

The Aadhaar Number is a unique 12 digit identification number that acts as a proof of identity which can be used anywhere across India. Due to its authenticity, the aadhaar card can be used as a proof of address as well. The government of India has made Aadhaar linking mandatory for securing benefits and services including bank accounts, mobile number, LPG subsidy, PAN card, DigiLocker, Mutual Funds, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and so on. Aadhaar Generation and Issue

The process of aadhaar generation includes quality check, packet validation, biometric and demographic duplication and so on. An Aadhaar card is generated successfully only if, the

• Enrollment Packet passes all the validations done in CIDR.
• Quality of the enrollment data meets the pre-described standards as stated by UIDAI.
• Demographic or Biometric details are genuine and no duplication of the same is found.

If in case any of the above-mentioned criteria are not met, then Aadhaar number will not be issued and the enrollment gets rejected.

Uploading Residents Data to CIDR

Each of the Indian resident's enrollment is first stored in a form of a packet which gets encrypted post the completion of the enrollment in the client itself and is uploaded to the Central ID Repository (CIDR) using the upload client which is provided to the enrollment agencies by UIDAI. The uploaded packet records will be maintained in the client software to prevent duplicate packets being uploaded to the server, thus saving the processing time and also packet rejection. While the data transfer to the server will be done using the secured file transfer protocol and so there is a little chance of leakage of data to any of the unauthorized agency. The documents received from the residents will also be scanned securely and it later becomes part of the enrollment packet which will be uploaded to CIDR.

CIDR Sanity Checks 

Each of the enrollment packets will be exclusively checked in for validity like packet metadata, checksums, and so on in the CIDR DMZ using automated process before it moves into the production zone of CIDR for processing purpose. 

Data Archival 

In CIDR, the contents of the packets will be read and stored in a table before archiving the same to ensure that it will be stored securely.

The archival system has to follow the below-mentioned requirements:

• All the original packets (updates, enrollments) should be archived as it is and forever, ensuring zero data loss and high availability. 
• The archival system may allow on-demand data retrieval with appropriate access control and approvals. 
• The Archived packed should be kept securely and should be separated from core authentication systems and enrollment. 
• Regular back up of archived data will be taken to ensure zero data loss.
