About Goa

The state is also very rich in minerals, with significant amounts of iron ore being mined. Goa is known for cashew plantations and also mangoes. Apart from that, it is also known for quality bauxite deposits and manganese deposits. A lot of large industries including pharma, steel rolling and footwear are found. The climate of the state can be quite humid at times and hence the best time to visit would be the winter months from Nov to Feb.
