Good Friday:

Good Friday 2025 is scheduled on 18th April and is observed as a Bank holiday In Andaman and Nicobar.

As a predominantly Christian region, the islands will commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.Churches across the islands will likely hold special Good Friday services, featuring somber hymns, prayers, and sermons reflecting on the passion of Christ. Some may also organize processions or Stations of the Cross, a traditional devotion that retraces the final hours of Jesus' life.

Muharram:

This major festival is scheduled to fall on 2nd October 2025 coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. The festival marks the triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana. Diwali:

Diwali, on 21st October 2025 will be marked as PUblic holiday in Andaman & Nicobar. This Hindu festival marks the victory of good over evil and is celebrated to honor Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana. The hindi community on the island perform puja to deities like goddess Lakshmi and lord Ganesha to seek blessings and prosperity. Christmas: 

Christmas, a major Christian celebration observed on December 25th, is a public holiday in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and is special in terms of culture and religion.
