LPG Price in Karnataka

Domestic LPG prices in Karnataka have remained unchanged today, with the average price for a domestic cylinder standing at Rs. 805.50. However, commercial LPG prices in Karnataka have seen a significant increase recently of Rs. 48.50/-  across all major cities in the state. In the capital city Bengaluru  the domestic cylinder is priced at Rs. 805.50/- whereas the Commercial connection costs Rs. 1818/-. Other major cities, Dharwad, Chikmagalur, Mysore, the prices are  Rs. 822/-, Rs. 813/-, Rs. 807.50/- respectively for domestic connections.

LPG rates in Karnataka today remain constant with most of the major states of the country. Karnataka LPG prices today are at an average Rs. 825/- for domestic connections. In major cities like Mysore LPG rates today are at Rs. 807.5/- for domestic cylinders and Rs. 1,709/- for commercial connections. Similarly, Belgaum LPG prices today stay stable at Rs. 818/- per domestic use, while LPG rates in Udupi today are Rs. 810.5/- for domestic connections. The capital city of Bangalore has lower LPG rates today, where domestic LPG prices in Bangalore today are at Rs. 805.5/- and Rs. 1,731.5/- per commercial connection.

The large state of Karnataka has an immense population residing in major cities such as Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Belgaum. The urban working-class population is highly dependent on LPG consumption for food and commercial purposes. The central government during the election season this year ensured a favourable deduction in fuel tax, which then led Karnataka LPG rates to dive lower along with other major states of the country.

The commodity markets today are floating on a positive note amidst the uncertain capital market situation after the news of war escalations in the Middle East became mainstream. The US dollar index also moves near the weekly low range with the red bond yields of major economies.

Also, the interest rate cuts expected by the end of next month might push selling pressure on oil and natural gas trades this week.

The US Spot Natural Gas prices today are floating around $ 2.06/- per barrel, rising 1.21% since the previous day’s closing.
