Tata Motors Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

TML Commercial Vehicles Limited (the “Company” or “Resulting Company”) was incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 2013, and a certificate of incorporation dated June 23, 2024 was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai.

Pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement effective on October 1, 2025, the Demerged Undertaking comprising the Commercial Vehicle Business of Tata Motors Limited was demerged from Tata Motors Limited into our Company on a going concern basis and in consideration, our Company issued Resulting Company New Shares to the shareholders of Tata Motors Limited, in accordance with the provisions of the Scheme of Arrangement and on the basis of the Share Entitlement Ratio set out therein.

2024

-Incorporation of Our Company

-Company name has changed to Tata Motors Ltd. from TML Commercial Vehicles Ltd..

-Tata Motors has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with THINK Gas, India’s leading City Gas Distribution player, to strengthen the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) refueling ecosystem for long-haul and heavy-duty trucking in the country. 

-Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles leadership at the launch of the all-new Tata Ace Pro, India’s most affordable 4-Wheel Mini Truck, introduced at a starting price of Rs. 3.99 lakh.

-Transfer and vesting of the Demerged Undertaking pursuant to the Scheme
