YEAR EVENTS
1995 - Mridol Pharmaceuticals Limited was incorporated on 9th February,
with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai and
certificate of commencement of business was obtained on 7th
March. The Company was promoted by Shri Sandeep Parwal and Shri
Harinarayan Attal.

- The Company proposes to set up a project for manufacturing,
filling and packing of hard gelatine capsules at the Union
Territory of Daman & Diu.

1996 - The Company's Public Issue of 57,00,000 Equity shares of Rs.10/-
each for cash at par opened for subscription on 15th February,
and was over subscribed.

1997 - The Industrial Development Bank of India has sanctioned a Term
Loan of Rs.490/- Lakhs during the year against the expansion of
the project for the pharmaceutical formulation in addition to
manufacturing of Empty Hard Gelatine Capsules Filling and Blister
Packing of Capsules.

1998 - The name of the company be and is hereby changed from MRIDOL
PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED to ANKUR DRUGS AND PHARMA LIMITED.

1999 - The company is at present manufacturing formulations on loan
licence basis for reputed companies like Cipla Ltd., Nicholas
Piramal (India) Ltd.

- The company is consuming energy by way of Electricity and
LDO/Furnace oil which taken together are important inputs and
receives the focussed attention of the Board.


2003

- Appointed Mr Purnandu Jain as Chairman and Managing Director of the company.


2007

- The Company has signed a "Term Sheet" jointly with "Labtech" of GMBH- Germany & APR (Applied Pharma Research) for a exclusive "Intellectual property rights" for a novel technology.
