LPG Price in Gujarat

LPG prices for the 14.2 kg domestic cylinder in Gujarat range between Rs 908 and Rs 930, influenced by oil marketing companies like HPCL, Indian Oil, and BPCL, with significance for households in both rural and urban areas. The current rates, preceding the 2024 general elections, span from Rs 908 to Rs 930.

As of March 7, the 14.2 kg cylinder is priced at Rs 910 in Ahmedabad, Rs 910.50 in Gandhinagar, Rs 915.50 in Jamnagar, Rs 923 in Kutch, Rs 908.50 in Surat, and Rs 909 in Vadodra. Additionally, the 19 kg cylinder is available at Rs 1,816 in Ahmedabad, Rs 1,860.50 in Gandhinagar, Rs 1,805.50 in Jamnagar, Rs 1,824 in Kutch, Rs 1,749 in Surat, and Rs 1,858 in Vadodra.

The fluctuations in LPG rates in Gujarat closely correlate with changes in crude oil prices. Despite the upward trajectory in costs, the Indian government continues to provide subsidized domestic LPG gas cylinders (14.2 kg) in Gujarat to support the low-income segment of society.

Securing a domestic LPG connection is now more accessible for those without an existing connection from PSU Oil Companies. Interested individuals can visit the nearest distributor, register for the connection, and furnish valid proof of identity and address.

The application process has been streamlined, allowing submissions through both mobile apps and portals.

Acceptable documents for proof of residence include Aadhaar (UID), Driving License, Lease Agreement, Voter ID, Ration Card, Telephone/Electricity/Water Bill, Passport, Self-declaration attested by a Gazetted Officer, Flat allotment/Possession letter, House Registration Document, LIC policy, and Bank/Credit Card statements. Proof of identity can be established using documents such as an Aadhaar Card (UID), Passport, PAN Card Number, Voter ID Card, ID Card issued by Central/State, and Driving License.

Upon successful registration and deduplication, the distributor will notify the applicant through SMS/email, and the LPG connection will be promptly released for immediate use.
