Gujarat Overseas Drugs Limited was incorporated on 16th day of September, 1993 as a Public Limited Company in the name of Gujarat Overseas Solvex Ltd, in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The company obtained Certificate of Commencement of Business on 21/07/1994. The name of the Company was changed to Gujarat Overseas Drugs Ltd by passing a Special Resolution. Consequent to this change, a Fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 28-10-1994. The company proposes to set up a plant to manufacture Bulk Drugs IBUPROFEN, TRIMETHOPRIM & NORFLOXACIN. The company also proposes to manufacture other drug apart from the envisaged product provided the capacity remains unutilised.

-Company has changed its name from Gujarat Overseas Drugs Ltd. to Trans Asia Corporation Ltd.

-The Corporate office of the Company has been shifted from 102, Mehta Estate, 'B' Wing, 1st Floor, Andheri Kurla Road, Nr. Chakala, Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 093 to:204, Chintamani Plaza,Andheri Kurla Road, Chakala,Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 099.
