Switching Technologies Gunther Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The company was incorporated on 27th April 1988. It manufactures Miniature Reed Switches and Tilt Switches. The company has been promoted by Shri M N Kannan and his associates alongwith W Gunther GmbH, West Germany and has set up a plant with a capacity to produce 16 million Miniature Reed Switches and 1.95 million Tilt Switches per annum.

The project cost was estimated at Rs 670 lakhs. The manufacturing facility was completed in a record time of 11 months form the date of receipt & Government approvals. The factory was formally inaugurated in September 1989. Trial production was conpleted by December 1989 and the project went into commercial production from January 1990.
