The company is in the business running holiday resorts and also has a transportation division. The company is part of the Pressman group founded by the Late H. C. Suchanti. The company has resorts at Siliguri, Darjeeling and Port Blair. With effect frm 1st April, 1993 a group company namely, Pressman Resorts Limited was amalgamated with Sinclairs Hotels.

2005

-Company has changed its name from Sinclairs Hotels & Transportation Ltd. to Sinclairs Hotels Ltd.

2009

- Sinclairs Hotels Ltd has appointed Mr. Kunal Bose as Director at the Board Meeting held on December 19, 2009.

2010

- Mr. Ravi Bhasin has been appointed as Director of the company

-Sinclairs acquires a 104 room business hotel in Bengaluru Company actively looking at more acquisitions

2012

--Sinclairs Hotels Ltd has declared interim dividend of Rs. 4.00 (40%) per equity share

2014
- Board has recommended a Dividend of 40% (i.e. Rs. 4/-) per equity share of Rs. 10/- each.

2015

-The Company's Burdwan Project, namely Sinclairs Tourist Resort Burdwan has commenced operations

2020

-Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 2/-.

2024
-The Company has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:1.
