Sanco Trans Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Sanco Trans Ltd (STL) was founded as a private limited company in 1979 by MR. K.Santhanam Reddiar, the sole proprietor of Sanco Trans, (ST), the first concern of the group to be engaged in
cargo handling operations since 1958. On 17th January, 1986 it was converted into a public limited company.

Currently STL is engaged in the entire range of cargo handling activities, namely clearing, forwarding and transporting, container handling and warehousing.

STL is also the holding company of two group companies namely Sanco contrans private Ltd (SCL) and Sanco warehousing private Ltd. (SWL), by virtue of being in a position to control the
composition of their Boards.

2005

-Sanco Trans has recommended a dividend @ 10% on the Equity Share Capital. In addition it has recommended a special dividend at 5% on the Equity Share.

2006

-Sanco Trans has designed E-mail ID for Investor Complaints: sfd@sancotrans.com.

2009

-Sanco Trans has recommended a dividend at the rate of 45%

2010

-Sanco Trans has recommended a dividend at the rate of 27%

2011

-Sanco Trans has recommended a dividend at the rate of 27%

2013
-Sanco Trans Ltd has recommended dividend of 27% (Twenty Seven Percent) on the equity share capital

2014
-Sanco Trans Ltd has recommended a Dividend @ Rs.2.70 (27%) Per share

2018
-Sanco Trans received "Most Diversified Logistics Company of the Year Award".
-Sanco Trans received "Top CFS of the Year Award".

2023
-Sanco Trans bagged Star of Excellence "Safety Award 2023" awarded by PSA Chennai.
-Company received Winner of CFS Operator of the Year Award (South East).
