Sagar Tourists Resorts Ltd was incorporated on 24th February 1987 with the Registrar of Companies, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh at Jalandar as a Private Limited company under the name of Sagar Tourist Resorts Pvt Ltd. the company was converted into a Public Limited company from 15th May 1992. The company was promoted to set up a four star category hotel at Manali, Dist. Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. The company has been promoted by Mr. Ramanand Sagar, Mr. Subhash Sagar and by Mr. Anand Sagar.

The company has not commenced any commercial operations as yet. the company is presently engaged in setting up of a 4 Star Hotel, 'Sagar Manali', with 48 rooms and 4 executive suites and a hut containing 4 luxury suites at Manali district Kullu (H.P).
