Polar Pharma India Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Polar Latex Ltd. was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on
20th December, 1988 and registered with the Registrar of
Companies, Orissa at Cuttak.

The Certificate of Commencement of Business was obtained by the
Company on 21st December, 1988.

The main objects of the company are fully set out in the
Memorandum and Articles of Association.

The immediate object of the company is to set up a project at
Somnathpur Industrial Estate, Balarore for the manufacture of
160 million pieces per annum of rubber prophylatics.

2002-Dipankar Palit appointed as Nominee Director on the Board of Polar Pharma India.

2003

-Receives contract from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for supply of 185 Mpc of Latex Prophylactics (Male Condoms) worth Rs 27 crore

-Shareholders approved the delisting of its equity shares from Bhubaneshwar, Delhi and Calcutta Stock Exchanges.

2005

-Polar Pharma enters into MoU with Makro Medien-Dienst

2007

- Polar Pharma forays into US, Europe with new strategy

- Polar Pharma India Ltd has received an order for supply of 85 million pieces (mpc.) of Male Condoms amounting to Rs 1067.94 lacs from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India on May 14, 2007.

- Polar Pharma receives order from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

2008
