YEAR EVENTS
1987 - Pheonix international Ltd (PIL) was incorporated as private limited company on 28th December. It was converted into a public limited company on 8th June, 1988 and obtained fresh certificate of incorporation from registrar of companies, Delhi & Haryana at New Delhi.

- The company was promoted by Shri D.N. Kalsi and Shri Ajay kalsi.

1993 - The Company entered into an agreement with JSC Rusfintorg of Russia (JSC) for manufacture supply.

1995 - Bonus issue to the existing shareholders/warrant holders of the company in the ratio of one share against every share/warrant held.

- The company has increased its manufacturing capacity to 10,80,000 pairs of shoes per annum and produced 9,27,948 pairs of shoes during the year.

- The company has improved its performance on domestic front through its wholly owned subsidiary `Phoenix Industries Limited'. The company has successfully launched Tuffs and Cactus brand in the market.

- The Company has signed a memorandum of manufacturing agreement with Reebok International Ltd. (USA) & UK for manufacturing shoes under their brand name and same will be exported to them.

1996 - The company has made allotment of 80,83,100 Bonus Shares to the Equity Shareholders.

- The Company has three subsidiary companies namely Phoenix Industries Ltd., Park Leather Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Phoenix Cement Ltd.

- The company has installed state of art and most modern plant requiring least possible energy.

1997 - The company through its wholly owned subsidiary namely M/s Phoenix Cement Limited is setting up a cement project with a capacity to manufacture 3 million ton cement p.a.a

1998 - The Company proposed to set-up 3 MT per annum, Cement Plant Project through its subsidiary, Phoenix Cement Limited.

1999 - The Company's brand "TUFFS" and "MADAME PHOENIX" have been successfully established in the domestic market.

- The company alongwith Phoenix Cement Limited have promoted Phoenix Power Development Corporation Limited for setting up 175 M.N. Liquid Fuel Power Projects in Haryana.

2000 - The Company has entered into an agreement with Software Technology Park of India.
