Kanel Oil and export industries Ltd. (KOEIL) Ahmedabad based public limited company was incorporated on 29th January 1992 and obtained certificate of commencement of business on 27th Februvary 92. The company is setting up an 100% export oriented integrated castor seed processing complex at Plot No 66 Ganeshapura,near Modasa in district
Sabarkantha ,Gujarat a notified category II backward area eligible for subsidy and tax benefits. The company is planning to manufacture castor
oil and castor DOC at installed capacity of 28200 MTPA respectively. The main objects of the company are fully set out in the memorandum of association of the company as stated elsewhere in the prospectus.

The project has been promoted by Shri. K J Thakkar and Shri H K Thakkar & Shri D K Thakkar.The company is setting up an export oriented
integrated castor seed processing complex at Ganeshpura, near Modasa in district Sabarkantha ,Gujarat a notified category II backward area eligible for subsidy and sales tax benefits. The company will manufacture castor oil and castor DOC at installed capacity of 28200 MTPA & 30600 MTPA respectively. The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 900 lakhs . The company has received 100% EOU licence from Secretariat of Industrial approvals, Ministry of Industry ,Government of
India for the project. The company's products will find applications in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics and lubricating,plastic and rubber
industries.

-Company has changed its name from Kanel Oil & Export Industries Ltd. to Kanel Industries Ltd.

2014

Reappoint Mr. Dhiren K Thakkar as Managing Director of the Company.
