Cranex Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Cranex Ltd., formerly known as Cranex Pvt. Ltd., was incorporated in 1973 under the Companies Act 1956 as a Private Limited Company with main object of manufacturing E.O.T. Cranes. The Company was promoted by Mr.S.C. Agrawal.

The company became public on 1st August, 1985 . The first public issue was in November 1985.

The company has a technical collaboration with KUHEZUG FORDERTECHNIK GmbH of Germany.

The company formed a wholly owned subsidiary in U.S.A. for developing exports under the name and style "Cranex International Inc." in Greater Washington, U.S.A. and certificate of incorporation was granted by the U.S.A. authorities on 15th April, 1994. Application for investment in the equity of the Co. is pending with the Central Govt.

2000 - The Company has signed an open-letter agreement with Maryland
University, US, for commercial applications of their latest
invention of Real Time operating system which has a $6-billion
per year market potential.

- The Company has decided to defer the proposal for allotment of 10
lakh equity shares on private placement basis due to unavoidable
reasons.

- The Company has signed an agreement with CDSL, NSDL and AOK
In-House Share Registry (R&T Agents) for dematerialisation.

- The Company has signed an agreement with University of Washington - Seattle,
US, one of the top ten universities in the US for providing Internet-based education
leading to masters degree in computer science. The Company is setting up 250
centers spread across Inida in collaboration with the University of Washington.
