Asahi Industries Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Asahi Fibres Ltd. (AFL) was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 2nd August, 1993 with the Registrar of Companies Maharashtra at Bombay and obtained the Certificate for Commencement of Business on 20th October, 1993.

AFL's main objects are to carry on business as manufacturers, producers, processors, ginners, spinners etc. of cotton and polyester yarn mainly for exports. The Company is in the process of setting up an Export Oriented Unit for manufacture of Yarn on rotors at the total cost of
Rs.1,297.00 Lacs.

AFL is promoted by the Directers of M/s. Akay Filtips Pvt. Ltd., leading manufacturers of Cigarette filters. The main directors of the Company are Shri A.K. Shah and Shri Amit A. Shah. Shri Amit A. Shah, an M.B.A. from U.S.A. is looking after the affairs of the Company.

AFL is being co-promoted by MTM Trading Pte. Ltd. (MTM), a Company incorporated in Singapore, which will be participating in the Equity to the extent of Rs.1.50 Crore.

2007

-The Company appointed Shri. Gaurav Aggarwal as Managing Director of the Company.

2008

-Mr. Jay Kumar Mishra is appointed as Managing Director.

2010

-Company has changed its name from Asahi Fibres Ltd. to Asahi Industries Ltd.

2011

-Asahi Industries Ltd has been appointed as the Whole-Time Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the Company.
