Trump Calls For Urgent Action To Address Israel-Gaza Conflict And Achieve Lasting Peace
US President Donald Trump is advocating for immediate action in the Israel-Gaza conflict, emphasising the urgency of peace talks with Hamas. He warns of severe consequences if a peace proposal is not accepted promptly.
US President Donald Trump has urged all parties involved in the Israel-Gaza conflict to act swiftly, warning that delays could lead to significant bloodshed. He is pushing forward with his latest peace initiative, emphasising the urgency of the situation.
In a Truth Social post, Trump stated, "There have been very positive discussions with Hamas, and Countries from all over the World (Arab, Muslim, and everyone else) this weekend, to release the Hostages, end the War in Gaza but, more importantly, finally have long sought PEACE in the Middle East." He noted that these talks are progressing rapidly and successfully.

Peace Plan Details
The peace plan introduced in late September includes several key components: an immediate ceasefire, hostages' release, Hamas's disarmament, and Gaza's reconstruction under a Palestinian governing body. This body would be supervised by a US-led international coalition. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly agreed to this 20-point framework.
Trump set a Sunday deadline for Hamas to accept the peace proposal. He warned that if this "LAST CHANCE agreement" isn't reached, unprecedented consequences would follow against Hamas. "THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER," he declared.
Urgency and Monitoring
Trump stressed the importance of acting quickly to prevent escalation and bloodshed in the region. He vowed to closely monitor developments, highlighting that time is critical for achieving peace.
Speaking with CNN, Trump expressed hope that Hamas would soon commit to peace. He thanked Israel for pausing bombings temporarily to give negotiations a chance. However, he insisted that Hamas must act promptly or face severe consequences.
Hamas mentioned on Friday that discussions regarding Gaza's governance and Palestinian rights continue within a national framework. Meanwhile, technical teams are scheduled to meet again on Monday in Egypt to finalise details of the plan.
The first phase of Trump's plan is expected to conclude within the week. He reiterated his call for swift action by stating, "I am asking everyone to MOVE FAST. I will continue to monitor this Centuries old 'conflict.' TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OR MASSIVE BLOODSHED WILL FOLLOW — SOMETHING THAT NOBODY WANTS TO SEE!"
