Time To Grab Rs 25 Dividend! Novartis India vs Elcid Investments: Which Small-Cap Stock To Buy?

"The dividend recommended by the Directors, if approved by the members at the Annual General Meeting, will be paid on or after July 31, 2025, to those members whose names appear on Register of Members as on Wednesday, July 23, 2025," the company said in its FY25 annual report.

"Elcid is consolidating after a recent rally, trading near its 50-day moving average. Immediate support is placed at ₹1,34,000, while resistance lies around ₹1,42,000. A decisive breakout above ₹1,42,000 on strong volume could trigger a rally toward ₹1,50,000. On the downside, a slip below ₹1,34,000 may lead to a correction toward ₹1,30,000. The structure remains mildly positive, and traders may consider buying on dips toward ₹1,36,000 with a tight stop-loss below ₹1,34,000 for a short-term move," commented Riyank Arora, technical analyst at Mehta Equities.
Novartis India Dividend
At its meeting on Friday, May 09, 2025, the Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 25/-per equity share on face value of Rs 5/-each for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2025. This recommendation is contingent upon member approval at the company's annual general meeting, which is set for Thursday, July 31, 2025.
"In continuation to the above and pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company has fixed Wednesday, July 23, 2025, as the Record Date for determining entitlement of Members to final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. If the final dividend as recommended by the Board of Directors is approved at the AGM, such dividend will be paid / dispatched, subject to deduction of tax at source after the AGM," said Novartis India in a stock exchange filing.

"Novartis India is forming a base above ₹1,040, with resistance at ₹1,100. A breakout past ₹1,100 could push it toward ₹1,150. Support lies at ₹1,040-₹1,050. The trend is gradually turning positive, and traders can consider accumulating near current levels with a stop-loss at ₹1,030. A breakout above ₹1,100 will confirm renewed upside momentum," commented Riyank Arora, technical analyst at Mehta Equities.
