On BSE, Stallion India's share price opened at Rs 120 apiece, which was at a premium of 33.33% from its IPO issue price of Rs 90 apiece. The stock touched 52-week highs and lows of Rs 125.99 apiece and Rs 125.99 apiece.

Stallion India Share: Locks At Upper Circuit After 33.33% Premium Listing; BUY?

Currently, the stock is locked at its 52-week high of Rs 125.99 apiece, which is up by 40% from its IPO price. Also, this will be a 5% upper circuit for Stallion. Upper circuits usually mean that the stock is receiving more buyers but no sellers.

Stallion is listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of ''T'' Group Securities.

On NSE as well, Stallion listed at 33.33% premium to Rs 120 apiece, against its IPO price. The stock's 52-week high and low, however, is at Rs 126 apiece and Rs 120 apiece respectively. The company's market cap is around Rs 999.50 crore, making it a small cap.

Stallion is locked at its 5% upper circuit which is also its 52-week high, gaining by 40% from its IPO price.

Stallion opened its IPO on January 16 to January 20th, to raise about 199.45 crore. The IPO size was a mixture of fresh issues worth Rs 160.73 crore and an offer for sale of up to 0.43 crore equity shares. The IPO had a price band of Rs 85 to Rs 90 per share. On the final day, the IPO oversubscribed by a whopping 188.32x, making it one of the best-performing IPOs in January 2025 so far.

According to HEM Securities, the company has shown Operating and financial performance and growth. Also, the company has a Customer base across high-growth industries and long-standing relationships with customers. The company has blending facilities in different states, and value and supply chain efficiencies. Also, the company has Professional management and experienced leadership of its Promoter i.e. Shazad Sheriar Rustomji.

Prashanth Tapse, Sr VP Research - Research Analyst at Mehta Equities said, "Despite high market volatility, Stallion India received a healthy response from investors across all categories. Considering the market trend and posting listing performances of the last few IPOs, we are recommending investors to book profits above our expectations on listing day. Post listing, we can see short-term volatility, hence advice for non-allotted investors, to wait and watch."

Tapse added, "On valuation per se, at the upper price band, it was fairly and reasonably priced based on annualised earnings. Hence we believe the company has decent room for healthy business growth driven by industry tailwinds and scalability."

Stallion India, commonly known as Stallion, is a Mumbai-based company incorporated on September 05, 2002, in Mumbai by Shazad Sheriar Rustomji, who currently serves as the Chairman & Managing Director and is also one of the Promoter of the Company. The company is in the business of selling Refrigerant Industrial Gases and related products. The company's primary business consists of debulking, blending and processing Refrigerant and Industrial gases, and selling of pre-filled cans and small Cylinders/ Containers.
