On Thursday, silver prices in India saw a modest yet steady rise, continuing the upward momentum seen over the past several sessions. Today, the price of 1 gram of silver stands at Rs 161, marking a rise of Re 1 from yesterday's rate of Rs 160. The 8-gram rate also moved upward, reaching Rs 1,288, up by Rs 8 from the previous day's Rs 1,280.
For those purchasing in slightly larger quantities, 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 1,610, showing an increase of Rs 10 compared to Rs 1,600 a day earlier. The 100-gram rate of the white metal climbed to Rs 16,100, reflecting a gain of Rs 100.
At the bulk level, the 1-kilogram silver price rose to Rs 1,61,000, up by Rs 1,000 from the previous day's Rs 1,60,000.
