On October 11, the silver rate reached Rs 1,770 per gram and Rs 1,77,000 per kg, marking a total jump of Rs 21,000 per kg compared to October 6, when silver was priced at Rs 1,560 per gram and Rs 1,56,000 per kg.

On October 11, 2025, the silver price in India continued its upward momentum, bringing relief for investors and traders tracking the precious metal. The per gram silver rate rose by Rs 3, reaching Rs 177, compared to Rs 174 yesterday.

For small to medium quantities, the hike is noticeable on Saturday. 8 grams of silver are priced at Rs 1,416, reflecting a Rs 24 increase, while 10 grams of the white metal cost Rs 1,770, up by Rs 30 from October 10.
Larger quantities saw even sharper jumps. The price for 100 grams of silver on 11 October 2025 rose to Rs 17,700, a gain of Rs 300, and 1 kilogram of silver now costs Rs 1,77,000, showing a significant Rs 3,000 surge in just 24 hours.

"The price of silver is expected to touch $60 per ounce in the next one year, a potential of 20% YoY from the current price level owing to growing industrial demand. The current supply deficit to demand is currently recorded at 20%, and is expected to be in deficit for the foreseeable future," according to the Emkay Wealth Management report.
Gold Rate in India Today on 11 October 2025
On October 11, 2025, gold prices in India saw a noticeable rise across all purity levels, offering a fresh update for buyers and investors during the festive season. Starting with 24 Karat gold, the price increased by Rs 55 per gram. This brings the rate of 24K gold to Rs 12,426 per gram, up from Rs 12,371 the previous day.
In the case of 22 Karat gold on Saturday, the price rose by Rs 50 per gram. This means 22K gold is now priced at Rs 11,390 per gram, compared to Rs 11,340 yesterday. The moderate hike is important for consumers planning to make jewellery purchases ahead of Diwali and Dhanteras.
Meanwhile, the price of 18 Karat gold rate on October 11 increased by Rs 41 per gram, bringing the new rate to Rs 9,319 per gram, up from Rs 9,278.
