Sharp Rise in 24K, 22K & 18K Gold Rates in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Other Top Cities in India Today

After a week of declining gold prices across the country, the first day of July 2025 brought a noticeable rebound in rates. On Tuesday, July 1, gold prices rose sharply in several major Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore. The rate of 24K gold increased by Rs 114, reaching Rs 9,840 per gram, while 22K gold went up by Rs 105 to Rs 9,020 per gram. Meanwhile, 18K gold rose by Rs 90, now priced at Rs 7,440 per gram.

Chennai Gold Rate Today: 24K, 22K and 18K Gold Price in Chennai

Gold prices in the capital city of Tamil Nadu have seen a noticeable increase across all purity levels. The 24 Karat gold rate per gram has risen to Rs 9,840, up Rs 114 from yesterday's price of Rs 9,726.

For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24K gold now cost Rs 78,720, while 10 grams are priced at Rs 98,400, marking a rise of Rs 1,140. For those purchasing 100 grams, the rate now stands at Rs 9,84,000, up Rs 11,400 compared to the previous day.

In the 22 Karat segment, which is commonly used in jewellery, the gold rate per gram today is Rs 9,020, an increase of Rs 105 from yesterday's Rs 8,915. The price for 8 grams has climbed to Rs 72,160, while 10 grams are at Rs 90,200. A 100-gram purchase now costs Rs 9,02,000, up Rs 10,500 from the previous rate.

For those considering more affordable options, the 18 Karat gold rate per gram has increased to Rs 7,440, up Rs 90 from Rs 7,350. Accordingly, 8 grams are now priced at Rs 59,520, 10 grams at Rs 74,400, and 100 grams at Rs 7,44,000, reflecting a jump of Rs 9,000.

Hyderabad Gold Rate Today: 24K, 22K and 18K Gold Price in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad on July 1, 24K gold prices rose by Rs 114 per gram, bringing the current rate to Rs 9,840, up from Rs 9,726 on June 30. A 10-gram purchase now costs Rs 98,400, while 100 grams is priced at Rs 9,84,000, showing an increase of Rs 1,140 and Rs 11,400, respectively.

22K gold also witnessed an uptick, now priced at Rs 9,020 per gram, up Rs 105 from Rs 8,915. The cost for 10 grams has reached Rs 90,200, and 100 grams now stands at Rs 9,02,000, up Rs 1,050 and Rs 10,500 respectively.

18K gold saw a more modest rise of Rs 86, with 1 gram priced at Rs 7,380. For 10 grams, buyers will pay Rs 73,800, and 100 grams is available for Rs 7,38,000, marking a daily increase of Rs 860 and Rs 8,600.

Bangalore Gold Rate Today: 24K, 22K and 18K Gold Price in Bangalore

In Bangalore, gold prices mirrored the trend seen in other metro cities of South India. 24K gold rose by Rs 114 per gram, taking the price to Rs 9,840, compared to Rs 9,726 yesterday. A 10 gram purchase now costs Rs 98,400, and 100 grams is priced at Rs 9,84,000, up by Rs 1,140 and Rs 11,400.

22K gold is now at Rs 9,020 per gram, increasing by Rs 105. 10 grams of 22K in Bangalore cost Rs 90,200, and 100 grams costs Rs 9,02,000, up Rs 1,050 and Rs 10,500 from the previous day.

18K gold rates also saw a jump, up Rs 86 to Rs 7,380 per gram. Buyers will now pay Rs 73,800 for 10 grams and Rs 7,38,000 for 100 grams, reflecting a daily increase of Rs 860 and Rs 8,600.

Gold Rate in India and other Top Cities Like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and More

In other metro cities, gold prices on Monday also showed an upward trend. In Mumbai, the rates were Rs 9,840 for 24K gold, Rs 9,020 for 22K gold, and Rs 7,380 for 18K gold per gram. Delhi recorded slightly higher prices with Rs 9,855 for 24K, Rs 9,035 for 22K, and Rs 7,393 for 18K gold. Kolkata matched Mumbai's rates with Rs 9,840 for 24K, Rs 9,020 for 22K, and Rs 7,380 for 18K gold per gram. Similarly, Kerala and Pune reported prices identical to Mumbai's, while Vadodara saw marginally higher rates at Rs 9,845 for 24K, Rs 9,025 for 22K, and Rs 7,384 for 18K gold per gram.
