Servotech Renewable Power System In Focus On Partnership For EV Charger Parts In India

The Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd NSE: SERVOTECH, one of the leaders in providing sustainable energy solutions in India has formed an accretive strategic partnership with a famous technology company Watt & Well SAS from France which leads in power electronics for Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Renewables and E-Mobility sectors. The partnership seeks to design, manufacture, and market EV charger parts in India to cater to the growing needs for electric mobility in the region.

Under this collaboration, Servotech together with Watt & Well will first consider the production of a 30kW Power Module optimized for the Indian market for EV charging. Furthermore, the companies will investigate the possibility of developing a Bidirectional Power Module for V2G applications. According to terms of the agreement, the power modules will be manufactured by Servotech in India and the company will also provide the parts to Watt and Well. The government's Make in India policy will support these initiatives as Servotech already has exclusive marketing and selling rights for these components throughout India.

Raman Bhatia, the Founder and Managing Director of Servotech Renewables Power Systems Limited puts forth his views with enthusiasm saying, "We are excited to work with Watt & Well in introducing their state-of-the-art power electronics software into the Indian EV Industry. This collaboration will allow us to efficiently manufacture economical and innovative EV charging systems, which will greatly limit import reliance and firmly establish India as a major contributor in the global EV charger market."

Servotech Power Systems Ltd., the largest EV charger manufacturer in India, recently partnered with LESSzwei GmbH (LESS2), a globally active German company to develop and implement inventive 100% solar-powered EV charging infrastructure for micromobility, such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-cargo bikes, in German cities. As of 1:32 p.m. IST, the stock was up 2.91% at Rs 187.66 per share.

The "EnerMAAS" project will build an efficient and ecological charging environment. To maximise energy utilisation and lessen the influence on the environment, it makes use of AI-driven energy management systems. EnerMAAS will concentrate on converting current energy storage and PV systems into cutting-edge street charging stations (BIKE-Ports). These stations will run entirely on solar energy, ensuring rapid and dependable charging all day and all night. With a 3.3 kW total output, each station can charge four two-wheelers at once. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), Germany, has awarded grant funding for this project for a period of 2.7 years.

Raman Bhatia, Founder & Managing Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd., said, "We are excited to partner with LESSzwei GmbH on this groundbreaking project. This collaboration aligns perfectly with Servotech's vision of accelerating the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and establish a strong international footprint. By leveraging our expertise in solar energy and EV charging infrastructure, we are confident that the EnerMAAS project will revolutionize the way we power micromobility in German urban areas."

"Servotech will oversee the manufacturing and supply of these Solarpowered EV charging stations. LESS2 will focus on all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and app development. Servotech will initially provide the first 100 systems, with two charging stations being deployed in each of 50 selected cities across Germany," the company said in a stock exchange filing on Monday.

The two companies are well-positioned to provide a game-changing solution for the expanding German micromobility sector by fusing LESSzwei GmbH's cutting-edge IT technology and energy management solutions with Servotech's experience in solar energy and EV charging.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd. was given a substantial contract by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) last week to build 11 DC Fast EV charging stations. The agreement includes the installation of public charging stations for electric vehicles at Karnataka Regional Transport Offices (RTOs).

With more than 20 years of experience and knowledge in the electronics industry, Servotech Power Systems, an NSE-listed company, creates tech-enabled EV charging solutions. In addition to being compatible with a variety of EVs, the firm offers a wide selection of AC and DC chargers for both commercial and domestic use.
