RITES Share Price Alert! 1st Interim Dividend For FY26 Announced; How To Trade Ahead of Record Date?

RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) is a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways. Today, the share price of RITES Ltd. (RITES) fell, and the stock ended the day trading on the NSE at about Rs 251.25. This is more than 2% less than the previous closing price of the stock. During the trading day, the stock fluctuated within a range, reaching a low of Rs 247.75 and a high of about Rs 254.05. This follows the announcement of an interim dividend for FY26 in the company's most recent financial results for the quarter ending June 2025.

The Board of Directors "Declared 1st (First) interim dividend for the Financial Year 2025-26 at the rate of Rs 1.30 per share (13 % of paid-up share capital) of the Company. Further, the record date set for the purpose of payment of 1st Interim Dividend for Financial Year 2025-26 is Tuesday, August 12, 2025," said RITES in a stock exchange filing.

RITES Q1FY26 Results

In the first quarter of the 2025-2026 fiscal year, RITES reported a 1.1% YoY rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 91 crore (Q1FY26). It had made a profit of Rs 90 crore during the same period last year. During the quarter under review, the PSU's revenue from operations increased 0.82% YoY to Rs 490 crore, up from Rs 486 crore in the June quarter of FY25. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization, or EBITDA, for the firm jumped 7% YoY to Rs 114 crore in Q1FY26 from Rs 106 crore in Q1FY25. The company's EBITDA margin climbed to 23% in the June 2025 quarter from 21.8% in the June 2024 quarter.

"RITES is consolidating in a narrow range, with support at ₹250 and resistance at ₹262. A breakout above ₹262 could take the stock toward ₹270. RSI is neutral, signaling sideways movement for now. A close below ₹250 may lead to minor weakness toward ₹245. Traders can consider buying near ₹252-₹255 with a stop-loss below ₹248, targeting a breakout-driven move in the short term," commented Riyank Arora, technical analyst at Mehta Equities Ltd.
