Regaal Resources Share Price Rallies 40% On Debut, Then Slip 6% in Early Trade; Investors Still Gain Big

Regaal Resources IPO made a blockbuster entry into the stock market on Wednesday, August 20, providing investors with huge listing gains. The Regaal Resources share price opened at Rs. 141 on NSE, with a 38.24% premium over its issue price of Rs. 102. Similarly, on BSE, the stock debuted even stronger at Rs. 141.80, up 39% from the IPO price, becoming one of the hottest listings of the month.

While the IPO saw massive listing gains, the momentum stopped due to some early selling pressure. As of 11:30 am, Regaal Resources share price slipped 6.40% from the listing price to Rs. 135.40 apiece on BSE. However, the stock is trading at a 32.75% premium over the IPO issue price despite the dip.

Regaal Resources IPO Subscription Status

The Regaal Resources IPO worth Rs. 306 crore recorded a phenomenal subscription of 159.87 times during its three-day bidding window from August 12 to August 14. Investor interest was spread across all categories as retail investors subscribed 57.75 times. QIBs and NIIs subscribed 190.96 times and 356.72 times, respectively.

Grey Market Premium Trend for Regaal Resources IPO

Ahead of the listing, the Regaal Resources IPO GMP was reported at Rs 31 on August 20, 2025, at around 6:01 am. Based on this grey market activity, the expected listing gain was around 30.39%, which was close to the actual listing day performance of nearly 39%.

IPO Details & Anchor Investment

The Regaal Resources IPO was a book-built issue worth Rs. 306 crore, comprising both a fresh issue and an offer for sale. The company also raised Rs. 91.80 crore from anchor investors a day before the IPO opened. The basis of allotment was finalised on August 18th.
