On April 15, 2025, gold prices in Kolkata saw a notable decline, just in time for Pohela Baisakh celebrations. The price of 22K gold is Rs. 8,720 per gram, down by Rs. 35 from the previous day. Meanwhile, 24K gold is selling at Rs.9,518 per gram, which is Rs. 33 lower than yesterday's price. The price of 18K gold has also decreased, now standing at Rs.7,135 per gram, down by Rs. 29.
