Nivruti Rai Quits as Intel India Head
Nivruti Rai has resigned as the Head of Intel India after serving the company for 29 years, the company said in a statement. Ms Rai was Intel Foundry Services Head and Vice-President in India.
She started her career at Intel as a design engineer in February 1994.

In a statement released by the company, Intel has expressed gratitude for the services of Ms, Rai for the remarkable progress achieved by the company under her leadership. In 2022, she was felicitated with Nari Shakti Puraskar for her exceptional work in empowering women.
In its statement, Intel said "Intel India country head and VP of Intel Foundry Services, Nivruti Rai, is departing Intel after 29 years with the company. We're grateful to Nivruti for the tremendous progress Intel India has made under her leadership. Today, Intel India is our largest engineering site outside the US and a critical talent base for the company. We will have more to share soon about Intel India's leadership plans and we wish Nivruti all the best in her next chapter".
Nivruti Rai's Education
Nivruti Rai completed her Bachelor in Statistics (BS) from the University of Lucknow in 1990. Post this, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Operations Research from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also completed her Master of Sciences in Electrical and Industrial Engineering at Oregan State University. Apart from this, she had also enrolled in an executive MBA programme run by Stanford University.

It is one of the world's largest semiconductor chip manufacturers in terms of revenue. The company ranked 45 in the Fortune 500 list of largest U.S.-based companies by revenue in 2020.
