Multibagger stock Adani Wilmar is facing a downturn in the stock markets this week, as the fear of low-double-digit revenue growth in Q2 is triggering investors. In an exchange filing, the company mentioned, "Rising interest rates, slow uptick in rural demand, and delayed withdrawal of monsoon in major parts of India impacted business in the quarter gone by. Edible oil business witnessed higher volume growth in the masstige category rather than the premium category as a result of down-trading." However, Adani Wilmar's food & FMCG segment of the company continued to grow, expanding over 40%.
However, investors can watch this stock to buy, as the company also mentioned, "We are hopeful of sequential improvement in demand trends with easing retail inflation and good monsoon." It added, "Overall, the business remained positive on growth trajectory riding particularly on the food and FMCG, and Oleo chemicals business."
