The Board of Directors considered and approved "Declaration of interim dividend @ Rs 3.70/- (Rupees Three and Seventy Paisa only) per equity share (i.e. @ 37.00 %) (Subject to deduction of TDS) on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of 10/- each for the FY 2025-26. Further, it is to inform that 18.08.2025 (Monday) shall be reckoned as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of Interim Dividend for the FY 2025-26. The date of payment /dispatch of the aforesaid interim dividend shall be on or before 05.09.2025," said PFC in a stock exchange filing.

PFC Q1FY26 Financials

On Wednesday, August 6, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) announced that its consolidated net profit for the April-June quarter of FY26 was Rs 4,502 crore, up 21% YoY from Rs 3,718 crore during the same time the previous year. In Q1FY26, the company's net interest income (NII) increased by 26% to Rs 5,469 crore.

In Q1FY25, it was Rs 4,328 crore. The company's revenue from operations for the quarter under review was Rs 28,539.04 crore, up 15.4% from Rs 24,716.76 crore during the same period last year. In Q1FY26, total income also increased by 15.7% YoY to Rs 28,628.92 crore. In addition, the company's total expenses for the first quarter of FY26 rose by 10% to Rs 17,429.93 crore from Rs 15,843.01 crore during the year-ago quarter.

"PFC is trading with strong bullish momentum, comfortably above support at ₹405. Resistance is placed at ₹425, and crossing this level could open the path toward ₹440. RSI indicates strength, and the price action is backed by good volumes. Dips near ₹410-₹412 can be used for buying opportunities with a stop-loss below ₹400, as the trend remains firmly positive," commented Riyank Arora, technical analyst at Mehta Equities Ltd.
