Amid this week's attention on the US CPI and Core CPI data, which could influence market expectations for the Fed's next rate move, gold traded positively and gained on the global market, with COMEX values hovering around $4,131.

Gold & Silver Rates In Bangalore Today
The price of gold in Bangalore today is Rs 12,720 per gram for 24 karat gold, Rs 11,660 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 9,540 per gram for 18 karat gold. Today 24k of 10 grams of gold will cost Rs 1,27,200 in Bangalore compared to Rs 1,30,580 yesterday representing a price drop of Rs 3,380 which means that 24k of 100 grams of gold rates in Bangalore today dropped to Rs 12,72,000 getting cheaper by Rs 33,800 overnight.
The price of gold in Bangalore dropped by Rs 3,100 today, to Rs 1,16,600 for 22k of 10 grams, from Rs 1,19,700 yesterday. This implies that the price of 22k of 100 gms of gold is now Rs 11,66,000, which is Rs 31,000 less than it was yesterday.
Today's price of gold in Bangalore was Rs 95,400 for 18k of 10 gms, down Rs 2,540 from yesterday's price of Rs 97,940. This means that 18k of 100 grams of gold would cost Rs 25,400 less today, at Rs 9,54,000.
In Bangalore, the price of silver is Rs 163.90 per gram and Rs 1,63,900 per kilogram today, as opposed to Rs 164 and Rs 1,64,000 yesterday.

Today, 24 carat gold costs Rs 12,720 per gram, 22 carat gold costs Rs 11,660 per gram, and 18 carat gold costs Rs 9,540 per gram in Hyderabad.
24k of 100 grams of gold will cost Rs 12,72,000 in Hyderabad today, which is Rs 33,800 less than yesterday, while gold prices in Hyderabad hit Rs 1,27,200 for 24k of 10 grams today compared to Rs 1,30,580 yesterday, marking a price decline of Rs 3,380.
Hyderabad's gold prices dropped by Rs 3,100, from Rs 1,19,700 yesterday to Rs 1,16,600 for 22k of 10 grams. As a result, 22k of 100 gms of gold would cost Rs 11,66,000 in Hyderabad on Wednesday, which is Rs 31,000 less than it did on Tuesday.
18k of 100 gms of gold got cheaper by Rs 25,400 on Wednesday, hitting Rs 9,54,000 from yesterday, while gold prices in Hyderabad dropped by Rs 2,540 from Rs 97,940 yesterday to Rs 95,400 for 18k of 10 grams today.
In Hyderabad, the price of silver is Rs 180 per gram and Rs 1,80,000 per kilogram today, as opposed to Rs 182 and Rs 1,82,000 yesterday.
Gold & Silver Rates In Chennai Today
Today, 24 carat gold costs Rs 12,764 per gram, 22 carat gold costs Rs 11,700 per gram, and 18 carat gold costs Rs 9,800 per gram in Chennai. 24k of 10 grams of gold will cost Rs 1,27,640 in Chennai today, down Rs 3,270 from yesterday's price of Rs 1,30,910; thus, 24k of 100 grams will cost Rs 12,76,400 in Chennai today, a savings of Rs 32,700.
Wednesday's gold prices in Chennai were Rs 1,17,000 for 22k of 10 grams, down Rs 3,000 from yesterday's price of Rs 1,20,000. As a result, 22k of 100 gms of gold will cost Rs 11,70,000 in Chennai today, which is Rs 30,000 less than it was yesterday.
Today, October 22, 2025, the price of 18-carat gold in Chennai saw a sharp drop, falling by Rs 100 from yesterday's price of Rs 9,900 to Rs 9,800 per gram. Likewise, the cost of 8 grams has gone down by Rs 800, from Rs 79,200 to Rs 78,400. The price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 98,000, which is Rs 1,000 less than yesterday's price of Rs 99,000. Meanwhile, the price of 100 grams of gold has gone down by Rs 10,000 from Rs 9,90,000 yesterday to Rs 9,80,000.
Today, silver costs Rs 180 per gram and Rs 1,80,000 per kilogram in Chennai, as opposed to Rs 182 and Rs 1,82,000 yesterday.
Gold Outlook Today
"The focus this week will remain on the US CPI and Core CPI data, which could guide market expectations on the Fed's next rate action. The prolonged US government shutdown has also kept a premium built into gold prices, sustaining its safe-haven appeal. The trading range is expected between Rs 1,25,000 and Rs 1,30,000," said Jateen Trivedi, VP Research Analyst - Commodity and Currency, LKP Securities.
