Hindustan Unilever (HUL) Fixes Record-Date For Rs. 17 Interim Dividend, Q2 Profit Up 20%
Large-cap FMCG player stock Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) announced an interim dividend of Rs. 17, and fixed the record date on November 2. The company's standalone net profit stood at Rs. 2,616 crore in Q2, with a gain of 19.6% from Rs. 2,187 crore reported in the year-ago quarter. HUL's profit after tax (PAT) increased by 14% from Rs. 2,289 crore in Q1. Additionally, its revenue from operations gained by 15.9% to Rs. 14,751 crore, which was reported to be at Rs. 12,724 crore in the year-ago quarter. Hindustan Unilever reported that its net sales in Q2 quarter stood at Rs. 14,896 crore, up by 16%.

(HUL) informed the stock exchanges that the company has "Declared an interim dividend of Rs. 17 per equity share of face value of Re. 1 each for the financial year ending 31st March, 2023. As intimated vide our letter dated 7th October, 2022, the record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the shareholders for the interim dividend has been fixed as 2nd November, 2022, and dividend will be paid to the shareholders on or after 17th November, 2022."
