Groww IPO: The much-awaited IPO finally entered the Indian primary market on November 4. Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent company of leading capital markets services provider Groww, has opened its Rs 6,632.30 crore IPO for subscription. On day 1, the grey market premium of the Groww IPO rallied and signaled an 18% premium listing, which is likely next week. The IPO is a mixture of fresh issue and offer for sale (OFS). Ahead of the IPO, the company raised a whopping Rs 2,984 crore through anchor investors.

Groww IPO Day 1 Subscription:
At the time of writing, Groww IPO received bids of 9,32,99,100 equity shares, which is 26% of the total offered size of 36,47,76,528 equity shares. The retail investors category fully subscribed the IPO by 1.05x. However, the IPO received mild demand from non-institutional investors (NII) as the portion subscribed 24% of its allotted size.
But the IPO received lowest demand from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) who bid only 1,11,750 equity shares against the offered size of 19,89,69,016 equity shares.
The IPO opened on November 4th and will end on November 7th. The initial public offering is mixture of fresh issue where 10.60 crore shares are offered worth Rs 1,060 crore; and offer for sale (OFS) of 55.72 crore shares amounting to Rs 5,572.30 crore.
The price band for the IPO is fixed at Rs 95 to Rs 100 per share. The bid lot size is of 150 Equity Shares and in multiples thereof.
Retail investors can bid up to maximum Rs 2 lakh for Groww IPO. While NIIs and QIBs can bid maximum up to 165,807,450 equity shares and 364,776,450 equity shares respectively in multiple of 150 Equity Shares. The IPO is opened from 10 am to 5 pm for subscription between November 4-7.
Companies like Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, Axis Capital Limited and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited are book running lead managers for the IPO.
Groww IPO GMP Today:
Groww IPO last GMP is Rs 18, last updated Nov 4th 2025 11:35 AM. With the price band of 100.00, Groww IPO's estimated listing price is Rs118 (cap price + November 4th GMP).The expected percentage gain/loss per share is 18.00%, as per Investor Grain.
This GMP has surged from grey market premium of Rs 16.5 on November 3rd, which that time suggested at 16.50% premium listing.
Groww IPO Allotment Date:
After the IPO closes on Friday, the allotment date for Groww IPO is likely to be scheduled on November 10. This will be followed by initiation of refunds or credit of shares to demat account on November 11.
Groww IPO Listing Date:
The tentative listing date is likely to be November 12 for Groww IPO. Groww IPO will compete against capital market stocks like Angel One, Motilal Oswal and 360 ONE WAM on BSE and NSE after listing.
Groww IPO: Apply Or Avoid?
At the current price band, Groww IPO is seem to be fairly valued compared to its peers.
"The company operates as a leading direct-to-customer digital investment platform, holding a market share of over 26%," explained Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart. She added, "It has consistently recorded strong revenue growth across the reported financial periods."
Also, the expert pointed out that the decline observed in FY24 performance was primarily due to a one-time tax-related accounting adjustment. Hence, Nyati added, "Considering its latest financial metrics and valuations, the issue seems fairly valued with limited near-term upside. Prudent investors may consider investing with a medium- to long-term perspective.''
