Gold's appeal as a safe-haven asset has been bolstered by global uncertainties, including geopolitical tensions and economic slowdowns, as well as expectations of interest rate cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve. The current price of gold in India is Rs 12,944 per gram for 24 carat gold, Rs 11,865 per gram for 22 carat gold, and Rs 9,708 per gram for 18 carat gold.

Gold Rates In Bangalore Today

The price of gold in Bangalore today remains unchanged at Rs 12,944 per gram for 24 karat gold, Rs 11,865 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 9,708 per gram for 18 karat gold.
The price of silver in Bangalore, meanwhile, dropped from Rs 195 and Rs 1,95,000 yesterday to Rs 194 per gram and Rs 1,94,000 per kilogram today.

Gold Rates In Chennai Today

The price of gold in Chennai has risen to Rs 12,982 per gram for 24 carat gold, Rs 11,900 per gram for 22 carat gold, and Rs 9,830 per gram for 18 carat gold, defying the trend of steady demand today. In Chennai, 24k of 10 gms of gold will now cost Rs 1,29,820, up Rs 440 from yesterday's price of Rs 1,29,380. As a result, the price of 24k of 100 grams of gold has increased by Rs 4,400 to Rs 12,98,200 today.

In Chennai, gold prices jumped by Rs 400 from Rs 1,18,600 yesterday to Rs 1,19,000 on Thursday for 22k of 10 gms. As a result, 22k of 100 grams of gold would cost Rs 11,90,000 today, an overnight price rise of Rs 4,000.

Gold rates in Chennai on Thursday reached Rs 98,300 for 18k of 10 grams of gold, which was Rs 98,000 on Wednesday, representing a costlier rate of Rs 300. Hence, 18k of 100 grams of gold will cost Rs 9,83,000 in Chennai today, which is a higher rate of Rs 3,000 from yesterday.

In Chennai, the price of silver fell from Rs 207 and Rs 2,07,000 yesterday to Rs 206 per gramme and Rs 2,06,000 per kilogram today.

Gold Rates In Hyderabad Today

The price of gold in Hyderabad today remains unchanged at Rs 12,944 per gram for 24 karat gold, Rs 11,865 per gram for 22 karat gold and Rs 9,708 per gram for 18 karat gold. However, the price of silver in Hyderabad today has dropped to Rs 206 per gram and Rs 2,06,000 per kilogram from Rs 207 and Rs 2,07,000 yesterday.

Gold & Silver Rates Fundamental Outlook Today

"Gold and silver prices are trading higher today on the international bourses. We expect precious metals prices on Indian bourses to trade range-bound to higher for the day; as gold prices rose to a record as heightened US-China frictions and bets the Federal Reserve will press on with monetary easing through the end of the year supported demand," commented the research analysts of Nirmal Bang Securities.
