According to market experts, the recent drop in gold prices can be attributed to several global factors. "Reduced geopolitical risks, including stabilization between India and Pakistan and potential easing of Syria sanctions, also lessened gold's appeal as a safe haven. Despite weaker-than-expected US inflation data supporting expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts-which usually boost gold-traders held back amid uncertainty ahead of upcoming US inflation and retail sales reports," said Ajay Kedia from Kedia Advisory.
