Gold Rates In Bangalore Today, Surges By Rs.7,600, Election Results Impact

Gold rates in Bangalore saw an upsurge today amidst the Lok Sabha Election results in India. The gold price has been falling for the past three days. As per, the trends NDA, BJP led alliance is leading 291 around seats and the opposition alliance INDIA is at 233 seats. The price of yellow metal was impacted significantly by the election result along with the stock market fall in India today.

As per the current ECI trends in Karnataka, BJP is leading on 16 seats, while Congress is leading on 10 seats.

Gold prices in Bangalore: 24K gold surged by Rs.7,600 for 100 grams reaching Rs.7,30,200 from Rs.7,22,600 on previous day. 10 grams went up by Rs.760, reaching Rs.73,020 compared to Rs.72,260 yesterday. While 8 grams increased by Rs.608 reaching Rs.58,416 in contrast to RS.57,808 yesterday. Lastly, 1 gram gold climbed by Rs.76 reaching 7,302 from Rs.7,226 the previous day.

The 22K gold increased at the same rate. 100 grams went up by Rs.7,000 thus reaching Rs.6,69,500 against Rs.6,62,500. Similarly, 10 grams surged by Rs.700 touching the mark of Rs.66,950 in contrast to Rs.66,250 the previous day. The 8 grams of gold boosted by Rs.560 reaching Rs.53,560 compared to previous day's closing of Rs. 53,000. Lastly, 1 gram of gold went up by Rs.70 to Rs.6,695 against Rs.6,625 the last day.

In the case of 18K, 100 grams increased by Rs. 5,700 reaching Rs.5,47,800 compared to Rs.5,42,100 the previous day. Whereas, 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs.570 reaching Rs.54,780 in contrast to Rs.54,210 the previous day. 8 grams of gold went up by Rs.456 reaching Rs.43,824 against Rs.43,368 the previous day. Lastly, 1 gram of gold surged by Rs.57 reaching Rs. 5,478 against Rs.5,421 in the previous day's closing.

The Indian indices experienced their most significant decline since March 2020, wiping out all gains from Monday. This occurred following exit polls projecting that the BJP-led alliance NDA is likely to secure a two-thirds majority in the lower house.The volatility index jumped to 29.79.
