Gold Prices In Kolkata Today
At Rs 13,277 per gram for 24 carat gold, Rs 12,170 per gram for 22 carat gold, and Rs 9,958 per gram for 18 carat gold, the price of gold in Kolkata hit a record-high level today. As opposed to Rs 1,29,440 on Thursday, 24k of 10 gms of gold will now cost Rs 1,32,770. This implies that 24k of 100 grams of gold has gone up by Rs 33,300 overnight, reaching an all-time high price of Rs 13,27,700 in Kolkata on Friday.
In Kolkata, the price of gold has risen by Rs 30,500 overnight to reach an all-time high of Rs 12,17,000 on Friday for 22k of 100 grams. Today, 22k of 10 gms of gold would cost Rs 1,21,700, compared to Rs 1,18,650 on Thursday.
Gold rates in Kolkata today reached Rs 99,580 for 18k of 10 grams, which was Rs 97,080 yesterday representing a price surge of Rs 2,500 hence, 18k of 100 grams of gold will cost Rs 9,95,800 in Kolkata today compared to Rs 9,70,800 yesterday, representing a price jump of Rs 25,000 overnight.
Silver costs Rs 188.90 per gram and Rs 1,88,900 per kilogram in Kolkata today, compared to Rs 189 and Rs 1,89,000 yesterday.

"On the technical front, MCX Gold continues to move higher, making a fresh all-time high in yesterday's session. The trend remains strongly bullish, with momentum staying robust. Most technical parameters indicate continued bullish strength. Immediate support is seen at 1,27,450, while resistance is placed at 1,33,150. Since the overall trend is bullish, traders can look to buy near the support level for a target of 1,33,150," commented Abhishek M Pelu - Research Analyst at Way2Wealth Brokers.
Gold & Silver Price Fundamental Outlook Today
"Gold and silver prices are trading slightly higher today on the international bourses. We expect precious metals prices on Indian bourses to trade range-bound to higher for the day; as gold and silver prices to record highs as fears about credit quality in the US economy and heightened frictions between Washington and Beijing strengthened demand for havens," commented the research analysts of Nirmal Bang Securities.
