Gold Price In India Today, 24th Feb: 22K & 24K/100 Grams Gold Rate Jumps Rs 1000; 1 Kg Silver Up Rs 500

On Monday, February 24, gold prices saw a surge domestically amid growing global uncertainty. At $2,940 an ounce, international gold prices were close to their all-time high of $2,950, marking an eighth weekly rise. U.S. President Donald Trump's reiterated tariffs are driving up demand for safe havens, which puts gold on the line as the commodity sees strong buying interest bolstered by a strong dollar and hawkish indications from the Fed's January meeting minutes.

Gold Rates In India Today

In India, 24 carat gold costs Rs 8,787 per gramme, 22 carat gold costs Rs 8,055 per gramme, and 18 carat gold costs Rs 6,591 per gramme. In India, the price of 22k of 10 grams of gold jumped to Rs 80,550 on Monday from Rs 80,450 earlier, signifying a 100 rupee price hike. Meanwhile, the price of 22k of 100 grams of gold surged to Rs 8,05,500 today from Rs 8,04,500 previously, signifying a 1,000 rupee price climb.

While 24k of 100 grammes of gold would cost Rs 8,78,700 in India today compared to Rs 8,77,700 earlier, marking a price spike of Rs 1,000, 24k of 10 grammes of gold prices in India hit Rs 87,870 on Monday compared to Rs 87,770 on Saturday, signifying a price jump of Rs 100.

In India, the price of 18k of 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs 90 to Rs 65,910 on Monday from Rs 65,820 on Saturday. In a comparable manner the price of 18k of 100 grams of gold jumped by Rs 900 to Rs 6,59,100 today from Rs 6,58,200 previously.

Spot Gold Today

According to Reuters, U.S. gold futures fell 0.5% to $2,939.30 on Monday, while spot gold was down 0.4% at $2,925.63 an ounce as of 0204 GMT. Palladium fell 0.3% to $965.97, platinum down 0.2% to $967.71, while spot silver fell 0.4% to $32.42 an ounce.

Silver Price In India Today

Today, silver prices are somewhat rising on the domestic market as well as on foreign exchanges. Today, silver costs Rs 101 per gramme and Rs 1,01,000 per kilogramme in India. In India, 10 grammes of silver will cost Rs 1,010 today compared to Rs 1,005 on Saturday, 100 grammes will cost Rs 10,100 compared to Rs 10,050 earlier, and 1 kilogramme of silver will cost Rs 1,01,000 on Monday compared to Rs 1,00,500 on Saturday, which is a 500 rupee price increase.

MCX Gold Outlook Today

"From a technical perspective, MCX Gold managed to sustain above 86000-mark and formed a bullish candle on the daily chart. The commodity established a base around the 84500-85000 levels and witnessed strong lower-level buying during the week, signaling a continuation of the uptrend, with prices likely to advance toward the 86500/87200 levels. On the downside, support for MCX Gold is observed at 85700/85400 levels, and a breakdown below 85400 could trigger profit booking, leading to a decline toward 85000/84750 levels. Gold & Silver Price Outlook Today

"Gold and silver prices are trading slightly higher today on the international bourses. We expect precious metals prices on Indian bourses to trade range-bound to slightly higher for the day, as gold prices are trading just shy of last week's all-time high as unexpectedly weak economic data and rising expectations for inflation helped boost haven demand," as per Nirmal Bang Securities Pvt.
