Gold Price In Chennai/Hyderabad Today: 22-24K/100 Gms of Gold Jumps Over Rs 4,000; 1 Kg Silver Rally Rs 1,100

Gold prices in the domestic market saw an enormous rise among safe haven assets during these tumultuous times of global upheaval. In light of economic uncertainties stoked by US President Trump's tariff measures, which may further influence the bullion market in the future, today's focus will be on US housing and industrial output figures. For the second time this week, gold prices rose above the crucial $3000 barrier on the global market front ahead of the economists anticipating that the Fed will maintain its benchmark interest rate at its current level on Wednesday.

Gold & Silver Rates In Chennai - Hyderabad Today

Today, 24-carat gold costs Rs 9,000 per gramme, 22-carat gold costs Rs 8,250 per gramme, and 18-carat gold costs Rs 6,750 per gramme in Hyderabad and Chennai.

While 22k of 100 grammes of gold will cost Rs 8,25,000 in the cities today compared to Rs 8,21,000 yesterday, representing a price bump of Rs 4,000, the prices of 22k of 10 grammes of gold in Hyderabad and Chennai on Tuesday reached Rs 82,500 compared to Rs 82,100 on Monday, representing a Rs 400 price jump.

While 24k of 100 grammes of gold will cost Rs 9,00,000 in the cities today compared to Rs 8,95,600 yesterday, representing a price climb of Rs 4,400, 24k of 10 grammes of gold prices in Hyderabad and Chennai reached Rs 90,000 on Tuesday compared to Rs 89,560 on Monday, representing a price jump of Rs 440.

While 18k of 100 grammes of gold will cost Rs 6,75,000 in the cities today compared to Rs 6,71,800 yesterday, representing a price spike of Rs 3,200, 18k of 10 grammes of gold prices in Hyderabad and Chennai reached Rs 67,500 on Tuesday compared to Rs 67,180 on Monday, corresponding to a price surge of Rs 320.

Silver currently costs Rs 113 per gramme and Rs 1,13,000 per kilogramme in Hyderabad and Chennai. One kilogramme of silver will cost Rs 1,13,000 in Hyderabad and Chennai today compared to Rs 1,11,900 yesterday, marking a price spike of Rs 1,100. Ten grams of silver will cost Rs 1,130 compared to Rs 1,119 yesterday, and 100 grams of silver will cost Rs 11,300 on Tuesday compared to Rs 11,190 on Monday.

"On the technical front, Gold remains in a strong uptrend and continues to see good buying demand. It has seen a MACD bullish crossover on the daily chart, which is a very positive sign. One data point to note is the building divergence in momentum oscillators, indicating early signs of fatigue, which should not be overlooked. However, it is still in an uptrend, and traders are advised to buy on dips. On an intraday basis, gold enjoys good support at 87,690 and resistance at 88,310/88,700. A close below 87,630 on the 15-minute chart should act as a stop loss," commented Abhishek M Pelu - Research Analyst at Way2Wealth Brokers.

"Gold and silver prices are trading slightly higher today on the international bourses. We expect precious metals prices on Indian bourses to trade range-bound to slightly higher for the day, as investors weighed US data that fueled concerns about an economic slowdown, while an escalation in Middle East tensions further underscored the precious metal's haven appeal," as per the analysis done by the research team of Nirmal Bang Securities.
