Bengaluru Power Cut On December 19 & December 20: 12-Hours Power Outage To End On Friday; Affected Areas List
The Bangalore Electricity Distribution Company ( BESCOM ) has continued to do maintenance work on power plants and substations in various areas of Karnataka, which is scheduled to end on December 19 and December 20. There have been power outages for 12-hours in Byadarahalli and surrounding areas from December 14th to December 19th.
BESCOM Power Cut:

BESCOM notified earlier that work is being carried out in Byadarahalli and surrounding areas from 10 am to 10 pm from December 14 to December 19 to increase the capacity of the transformer at the Byadarahalli power disruption center.
Affected Areas For 10 am to 10 pm are:

Bengaluru Power Cut From December 10 To December 20:
Another power outage of 7-hours-long will be ending on December 20. Recently, BESCOM commenced remaining work of shifting 11KV and secondary power lines, transformers and electric poles that obstruct footpath development on both sides of the Bengaluru Double Road from December 10 to December 20.
The work was carried from 10 am to 6 pm and due to this power supply from the 11KV sub-station feeding the F-10 Prabhakar Layout and F-22 KEB quarters feeders have been disrupted.
Affected Areas:
Areas including Bengaluru Road, Kanampalli, Prabhakar Layout, Gundappa Layout, Anjani Layout, Ashraya Layout, Kempama Layout, Venkatagirikote, Filter Bed Circle, Royal Circle, Bagepalli Circle, Tank Blund Road, Teachers Colony and Timmasandra are facing power outages.
