1. Thomas Cook
Shares in Thomas Cook were up 20 per cent in trade today and were locked at the upper end of the circuit filter.
The company has informed the exchanges that a board meeting would be held on Feb 26 to consider the possible buyback of shares.
2. Vodafone Idea
Brickwork Ratings has downgraded the rating on the company's non-convertible debentures, aggregating to Rs 2,500 crore, from 'BWR BBB-' to 'BWR BB-'. However, the stock was up 9 per cent in trade today.
3. Oil India
Shares in Oil India dropped more than 9 per cent, after the stock went ex dividend today. The shares were last seen trading at Rs 126 on the NSE.
The company had declared a dividend of Rs 9 per share, which took the dividend yield to a very healthy 8 per cent. The shares of the company have over the last few trading sessions been badly hit due to the corona virus.
4. Gayatri Projects
Shares in Gayatri Projects were locked at the lower end of the circuit filter for the 29th straight session. The company informed the stock exchanges that it had defaulted on a loan with syndicate bank for Rs 0.64 crores.
5. DHFL
DHFL was locked at the upper end of the circuit filter for the second straight day. The bankers had received bids from several firms for its loan portfolio.
The stock was last seen trading at Rs 11.25 with only buyers in the counter.
