Jewellery Stocks Trade Higher; Industry Seeks Reduction in GST On Gold At 1%
The industry through the budget 2018 demand of a lower GST rate on gold jewelery of 1% as against 3%.
After Titan outperformed and its trading close to its 52-week high price with intra-day trading price high of Rs. 928 on Tuesday, nearly all of the stocks in the sector are trading at high.
The brokerages are bullish on these stocks. In the pack TBZ, PC Jewellers is trading high by over 2 % and has reached a 52-week high in trade today. PC Jewellers has also performed on similar and is trading at its 52-week high.
