Gold Prices Dip From 1-Week Highs

Gold prices dipped from 1-week highs, even as the dollar managed to strengthen against a basket of currencies. Spot gold in the international markets traded lower by 0.1 per cent at $1260 an ounce.

In India, the city of Mumbai was seeing a more or less flat closing. Gold of 24 karats was last seen trading at Rs 31,300 in the city of Mumbai. On the other hand gold of 22 karats was around Rs 29,200.
