Key domestic benchmark indices on Thursday ended higher. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade higher by 118.07 points to end at 28123.44; Nifty ends at 8673.25 up by 49.20 points.
NTPC, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and BHEL were major gainers while Coal India, L&T, Tata Steel, GAIL and HUL were losers in the Sensex.

Shares of Bharti Airtel rose after reports that Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) agreed to buy stake in Bharti Telecom and also a stake in Intouch Holdings.
Shares of Bharti Airtel ended day at Rs 352, higher by 1.98 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 352 during trade.
