Stocks That Were In News On July 13, 2016

Key domestic benchmark indices on Wednesday ended trade flat. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 27815.18, marginally higher by 7.04 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 8519.50, down by 1.55 points.

Shares of RPP Infra rose after the company said that its subsidiary situated in Sri Lanka received order worth of US$ 10.36 Million in Sri Lanka.

RPP Infra shares ended trade at Rs 178.80 higher by 3.74 per cent on the BSE. It touched an intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs 188.85.

Indiabulls Group

Shares of Indiabulls group fell after media reports of income tax raid at its offices. Shares of Indiabulls Housing Finance, Indiabulls Real Estate, Indiabulls Ventures and Indiabulls Wholesale Services fell on Wednesday.

Birla Ericsson Optical shares rose after the promoters of the company purchased equity stake of Sweden-based shareholder in the company.

Birla Ericsson ended trade at Rs 41.65, higher by 4.91 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 41.65

Shares of Cairn India and Vedanta gained after the reports that LIC may have cleared merger of both companies.

Shares of the company rose 2.31 per cent to end trade at Rs 166.30. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 176.95 during trade.
