Reliance Communications (RCom) today said stock exchanges BSE and NSE gave their go-ahead to its deal to acquire Russian conglomerate Sistema's Indian telecom unit, Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd.

Shares of Tata Steel fell after the company said the rating agency Standard & Poor's downgraded the long-term corporate credit rating by a notch to 'BB-' from 'BB'.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has said that TCS Japan has begun the deployment of a new communication infrastructure service called ASTEPLUG CI for Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation and is concurrently providing the service to Mitsubishi Corporation group companies.

The stock ended the day at Rs 2282, marginally higher by 0.12 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low and 52-week low at Rs 2252 during the trade.
