Adani group stocks rally as exit polls hint at Narendra Modi led government

Stocks in the Adani group were on fire as exit polls hinted at a clear majority for the Narendra Modi led government at the centre.

Reports have alleged that Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group is close to Narendra Modi, though Adani has denied the same on numerous occasions.

Adani Enterprises was up more than 6 per cent, while Adani Power up 7 per cent, while Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone was up 10 per cent.

Dealers say that the interest in Adani Group stocks is more speculative and fundamentals may suggest that the stocks may be fairly priced at these levels.
