Founded in 1983, India Glycols Limited (IGL) is a well-known green chemical firm in India that specializes in bio-based performance and specialty chemicals. IGL serves a variety of industries, including the automotive, pharmaceutical, and food processing sectors, through its several business areas, which include Bio-based Specialties and Performance Chemicals, Potable Spirits, and Ennature Biopharma. In addition to products like usable alcohol and nutraceuticals, IGL's portfolio consists of a broad range of chemicals, such as glycols, glycol ethers, acetates, and natural gums.

The Board of Directors considered and approved "sub-division/split of the 1 (One) equity share having face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) each, fully paid-up, into 2 (Two) equity shares, having face value of Rs. 5/- each (Rupees Five only) each, fully paid-up, by alteration in Capital Clause of the Memorandum of Association (MOA) of the Company, subject to approval of the shareholders and any regulatory/ statutory approvals, as may be required under applicable laws. The Record Date for the purpose of the sub-division/split of equity shares shall be intimated in due course," said India Glycols in a regulatory filing.
India Glycols Q4 Results
India Glycols' net profit increased 51.67% to Rs 64.02 crore in the March 2025 quarter from Rs 42.21 crore in the March 2024 quarter. Compared to Q4FY24, when sales were Rs 926.14 crore, sales in the quarter ending in March 2025 fell 6.79% to Rs 863.22 crore. EBITDA improved 35.06% from Rs. 109.23 crore in Q4FY24 to Rs. 147.53 crore in Q4FY25.
The net profit for the entire year climbed 33.49% to Rs 230.92 crore in March 2025 compared to Rs 172.99 crore in March 2024. In the year ending in March 2025, sales jumped 14.40% to Rs 3768.26 crore, compared to Rs 3293.97 crore in FY24.

"India Glycols stock price is bearish & overbought on the Daily charts with strong resistance at 1943. A Daily close below support of 1834 could lead to a target of 1655 in the near term," commented A R Ramachandran, independent research analyst.
